Keister Bros. ATC Museum
This website is to document "The K'BAM!" in the making. From the actual development of the brand, to events, to neat photography and projects. Keep visiting for frequent updates, and stop in the actual property for a good time.
Updating the Build of K'BAM!
June 2024 - Crown, PA - Ground has been broken. We now have an almost done "pad" to begin the erection of the finest ATC Museum we know of. Keep up to date by visiting this page and keeping tabs on the progress. If all goes well - we should be starting to set-up displays by Thanksgiving 2024.
July 2024 - Crown, PA - Pad is done. Posts and perlins are up. Trusses are to be delivered on July 6 and set on July 8. Staytuned for more pictures.
Roof is on. Windows are in. As of 10/2/2024, we have a concrete floor sitting atop of 2" insualtion, 6" WWM, and 1/2" pex pipe every foot for in-floor heating. Penelec also decided to show up for the party and FINALLY after their "field engineers" got done playing ass grab with each other hooked up our electrical service. Kudos to the actual line workers for making it happen - without them I'd likely still be calling in talking to these green, work from home, can't stay focused do nothings. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
3rd Annual K'BAM! Golf Classic 🏑
April 11 - 14, 2024 was the "Master's Tournament" weekend at the K'BAM! The weather was very cold, windy, and although it never rained on us, the amount of flooding and rain run-off was unprecedented. Ten brave souls, and one brave Solle showed up to compete in the event, and in the end, the victors shot a 7 under (62). Start planning ahead for the 4th Annual K'BAM! Classic on Master's Weekend 2025. Get your camper out and "Summer-ize" it for the event. More details to come as next years event gets closer. Congrats to our winners!
Bikes built on site since Shed acquisition . Although the Shed is not really a "shop" to build, sometimes in this hobby, things just happen.
El Diablo
This is an infamous Internet bike build from back in the 2008 time frame. This 1986 ATC250R was built by a friend on 3wheelerworld.com. I had it shipped in pieces and reassembled it. (Special Thanks to my good friend Mr. Clean)
The Imposter
This 1971 ATC90 is not a 1971 ATC90. It is rather a 1980 ATC110. Built because of the tire / wheel simulators (Special Thanks to Vintage Motorsports - Mike Palmgren) I wanted to have a nice rider with vintage cool looks.
Monster Trike
Also built around wheels and tires - this 1983 ATC200 utilizes 30" S3 tires on 12" wheels. A custom 80 tooth rear sprocket makes it go. Custom rear disc brake kit makes it whoa.
450 Custom Re-Deux
This TRX450R was purchased new in 2009 as a 2008 left-over from World of Wheels in Seneca, PA. It was then cut and modified to become a 3 wheeler. It has been in numerous races: MX, TT & Ice, desert rides in Southern CA, trail rides in many different states and an all around utilitarian sport trike. The redo was desperatley needed. It took approx 2 years to complete the redo because of procrastination.
1983 CX650T Turbo
"Riding turbo motorcycles, a tradition unlike any other" . While 3 wheelers are the main focus at K'BAM!, the K'BAM! staff will all agree, Honda made some mighty fine 2 wheelers over the years too! This "one year only bike" is a real collectors dream bike. Feeling a turbo charger kick in on a 650cc V-Twin - making just over 100 HP is a feeling any enthusiast can appreciate. It's a bike like no other, it's bone stock, and is a real head turner. The history of this bike is as quirky as can be. Come visit K'BAM! for a history lesson on the CX650T.
An Electric ATC
While Honda did not make any electric off-road vehicles until a year or two ago, we took a time machine back to 1985 to get a jump start on the competition! Based off of the best trike ever made, the ATC200S, this "All Electric" ATC was designed and built for camping resorts and campgrounds in mind. It is totally electric, therefore is silent. No gasoline, oil, air fliters or engine maintenance for this guy! Elon Musk would high five me big time for building this. Pine Lake's 2nd 2024 TT race will be the debut of this unique trike. Come on out and check it out! And yes, those are "Electric Blue" fenders.
Employee of the Month Year
Please join us in congratulating K'BAM!'s Employee of the Month : Sweet Jane . Sweet Jane is the Head of Security - Toy Box Division. Sweet Jane has been with "The K'BAM!" for a little over two years. She has yet to leave her post. Her dedication and integrity are only surpassed by her totally radical Hondaline jumpsuit. If you see Sweet Jane, thank her for her service.
Around the Property
Our "Campsite" is a beautiful natural atmosphere to enjoy a campfire, a wiener roast, or any other outdoor gathering that you can think of. This site overlooks the pond as well as having full RV hook-ups. You'll be at one with nature while relaxing like a true "Happy Camper".
The "Toy Box" is our storage building and will serve as an intermediate building while the museum is being built. A loading dock is on site for ease of loading / unloading Hondas from trucks.
A glimpse inside the Toy Box. A lift for inspecting vehicles as well as some very "cool" night lights. Come in for a "speak easy" in the night hours, and admire some cool machines while you're in there.
Spring Time on the K'BAM! grounds are impressive and beautiful. Here, you can view the cupola peaking over "Redish Knob" where the beautiful apple orchard is in full bloom. Come for the ATCs, stay for the apples!
The Toy Box or Intermediate Cold Storage Building has really filled up since it was completed. Hopefully very soon the majority of this section of the collection will be moved to it's final display building, "The K'BAM!"
A view from inside the Shed. Inside the Shed is an ever changing moment in time. From Birthday parties, to Bachelor parties, from ATC restorations, to simple ATC maintenance. A multimedia center makes the party lively, while the tools and equipment make it a great work space. Feel free to make some soup or a sandwich - then take a hot shower after a long hard day of riding the ANF, located just 10 miles North on Route 66. The fully climate controlled atmosphere brings joy to all visitors. Enjoy the AC on a hot day, enjoy the warm heat on the cold winter nights.
K'BAM!'s Botanical Garden
At K'BAM! we not only appreciate the Honda ATC, good Meade, and belly laughs, but we also appreciate the finer things in life. Our Botanical Garden can be seen in peak colors in the summer months. Observing and enjoying these beautiful flowers is not only relaxing, but rather exciting too. Our botanical garden will contiunue to grow each year as we spawn out into our most creative selves. Come enjoy the flowers at our campsite.
Our first sponsor: Bunratty Meade
Customers are talking: "Really takes me back to the 1400s", "Very Monkish"
Yes, that's Bunrattys - the All Day, No Tell, Do Tell Meade
Our old showroom will soon be replaced with a state-of-the-art, high quality, display-museum. The 3rd 2nd nicest collection East of the Mississippi on public private display. Our "Curators" look forward to giving you a tour when it is complete.
***Note*** 2nd nicest collection East of the Mississippi voted on and named by us at KBAM.
